Notice - Network Maintenance at Peer1 Facility

COMPLETED 3:07AM (Dec 16): The scheduled network maintenance has been completed! It took two long nights to complete this maintenance where we upgraded the firmware of all our switches and upgraded some configurations as well. It was very difficult to complete the maintenance with only few minutes of downtime, for some customers just some seconds. Our network is not stronger than ever and we can now continue the migration off our older facility at Canix.  Please let us know if you have any question. Good night! :)

UPDATE 12:07AM (Dec 16): First step of the maintenance completed! There was a small downtime of no more than 1 minute during the process for all managed customers. Some unmanaged customers experienced a few minutes downtime. We are going to continue and will confirm as soon as the maintenance is completed. Another small downtime is expected in about 40 minutes.

EXTENDED 11:00PM EST: We have not completed the scheduled maintenance but everything is going well so far. We have not had any downtime but as we have previously mentioned a couple of small downtimes are expected later on. We are estimating the downtime to end around 1AM EST (December 16th)

UPDATE 7:55PM EST: We are getting ready to start the maintenance at 8:00PM EST as scheduled. As we have explained we expect some short downtimes during the maintenance but we don’t expect total downtime to be longer than 10 minutes. We will be responding slowly to support tickets during the maintenance but please contact us if you have any question.

This Thursday, December 15th, starting at 8:00PM EST we will continue the network maintenance started last Friday to complete the firmware and configuration upgrade of our network equipment at our Peer1 facility. A couple of small downtimes is expected on several servers during the maintenance, we will do our best to minimize the downtime and will publish periodic updates during the maintenance.
