RAID issue in one of our physical hosts

CLOSED: 10:30PM EST At this time all the VPS’s are up and running. Performance might be still degraded a bit while we run latest tests on the server. Please open a ticket if you are experiencing any issue with your VPS or site.

UPDATE: 7:39PM EST The server is back up and we are starting to get the VPS’s up again. This will take some time since we start only one VPS at the time and on some of them a fsck will be executed as well.

UPDATE: 5:33PM EST We have had to rebuild the disk ARRAY and it’s taking longer than planned. We will continue posting updates as we have more information to share.

UPDATE: 4:54PM EST The physical host had to be restarted, we are running a check on the RAID array and will start taking the first VPS’s up in few minutes.

Jan 5th, 2011 4:04PM EST: We have detected a RAID issue in our of our physical hosts in Canix. Our team is working to get this issue fixed as soon as possible and will post more updates in short.
